My Current Skin Care Favourites: Johnson's Face Care Range and Celltone Gel

I always say that skin care is very important. Looking good starts with beautiful perfect flawless skin. Sounds impossible, right? I am here to tell you that it is not impossible to get beautiful flawless skin. With the right products and proper care it is very possible to achieve. I have experimented with several products, some worked, some hmm not so much. But you do not give up, especially when aiming for perfection. I recently decide to introduce 2 new ranges to my beauty regimen. I decided to give the Johnson's Skin Care range a try, and also the much talked about Celltone GEL. The Johnson's Face Care Even Complexion range is said to be, "...specially formulated to help improve your skin's natural complexion and help reduce the appearance of dark marks and blemishes...".  I am using the Johnson's Even complexion cleansing bar to cleanse my face. Then I apply the Even complexion day cream with SPF 15 to moisturise. I totally love these products. The soap has soy and red berry extracts that help to enhance skin radiance, smoothness and brightness.They say for best results it should be used together with the Johnson's Even Complexion Day Cream with SPF 15, which is exactly what I am doing:) The Day Cream also has soy and red berry extracts. Soy extract is well known for its depigmentation effects abd helps improve the appearance of dark marks. What I can tell you is that this cream is very moisturising. It is one of the best moisturisers that I have ever used! Infact even the soap is not drying because it contains glycerine. The best part is this product is really affordable.I bought both for under $5. I don't think it gets better than that. I just love these products, I have only been using them for a week so will give an update in a few weeks time.

Now onto the Celltone Gel.I have had people rave about this product on TV as well as on the internet. They say Snail Gel is used to formulate the Celltone Gel because snails naturally repair their own shells. Hence this product will also naturally repair the skin. They say it repairs skin tissue, heals scars and reduces the appearance of wrinkles.They say it, "...reduces the appearance of dark spots after 14 days of continued use, reduces the appearance of stretch marks after 8 weeks of continued use and reduces the appearance or wrinkles after 28 days of continued use." For best results they say it should be applied twice a day to affected area. Well,  I only apply it when going to bed. I cleanse my face, then just simply apply it before going to bed so it can sink into my skin  and do the repairing whilst I sleep. This product is slightly more expensive compared to the Johnson's Face Care range. Ah, well I will keep you posted on how it's going with this product in a few weeks.

The famous singer posted the picture a few minutes ago on her instagram page  . She added the caption, "Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today." This confirms the rumours of the twins' birth that have been circulating for a few weeks now. Guess I can officially say congratulations to the Carters! And happy one month to the twins!

My Dudu Osun Black Soap Hey there! I hope that I find you all well. I have decided to write something on skincare, specifically dealing with blackheads, breakouts, scars, acne and clearing dark marks. I know there are so many ways of dealing with these skin problems; however, I am going to write about the Dudu Osun Black Soap. I know the name sounds scary and intimidating, but it is just a natural soap made from Pure honey, Shea butter, Osun (Camwood), Palm kernel oil, Cocoa pod ash, palm bunch ash, Aloe Vera, Lime juice, Water and Fragrance. Rose Water Toner: Yay or Nay?

HELLO! My last post was about skin care, and I made reference to Rose water and how I use it as a toner after cleansing my face. As a toner I think it gets the job done, however, there are some things that I do not particularly like about using Rose water in general.   Before I started using it I read several reviews about how Rose water should be a beauty essential for everyone, about how it’s magic in a bottle etc. In a way it is magic in a bottle and a beauty essential mainly because it can be used on both the skin and hair. It definitely refreshes the skin, it also tightens pores, balances skin PH, and skin feels softer and smooth. In a nutshell, you do notice a difference, mostly good. HELLO! I hope that I find you well. I truly mean this because I have been away for a very very long time. Truly speaking, I have been soo busy with a lot of things and life literally got in the way. Therefore I did not make enough time for this blog that I started because of my passion for writing and just helping people in general.
